Trip Overview

Ruby Valley Singla Pass Trek is an innovative offering of Himal Eco Treks to its valued customers. It is a newly found route to relish the promising beauty of Ganesh Himal along with the diverse topography and vegetation thereby. Ganesh Himal is a beautiful range located in the central eastern region of Nepal. It is considered to be home to a diverse range of floras and faunas. Around 526 species of plants (which includes 40 species of orchids), 300 species of birds and many other species of animals have been recorded in this region.

The name – Ganesh Himal comes after a deity Ganesh. Lord Ganesha is an elephant-headed god as per the Hindu mythology. As the peak of Ganesh Himal resembles that of the head of an elephant, the peak has been named after Lord Ganesha, hence Ganesh Himal. Ganesh Himal region is amongst the seldom visited regions of Nepal due to its off beaten nature. Very fewer hotels, lodges are found in this place. Also, the trekking region is sparsely populated. Ruby Valley Singla Pass Trek is even more newly explored route that takes you close to Ganesh Himal to applaud the beauty that this mountain possesses. It offers some stunning views of mountains like Ganesh Himal I, II, III, IV, Mt. Manaslu, Langtang range, Annapurna range and other mountains in Tibetan range.

Ruby Valley Singla Pass Trek starts with a guided tour around UNESCO listed heritage sites in Kathmandu. It is followed by a drive to Dhadingbensi from were we starting trekking to Jharlang. We pass various villages like Sertung, Borang, Tiplung, and Puru on the way to Pasang Kharkha. We continue through the meadows at Singla and Balche Kharka to Sing La pass. we cross the pass and make our way down to Balche from where we embark our return journey back to Kathmandu.

At Singla pass, you will get an opportunity to admire the glory of mountains in that region. From the starting point of the journey to its end, you traverse into a variety of topography and vegetation. The lush environment, off beaten track, forests, hills, meadows, and charming villages are some highlights of Ruby Valley Singla Pass Trek. Adventure of a lifetime in the Himalayas My experience with Bhairam and Himal Eco Treks was amazing! Everything was accounted for from Kathmandu hotels, local and remote transportation (that flight into Lukla is one to remember), tea houses on the trails, food, knowledgeable guides happy to inform on local culture and what that peak waaay in the distance was. I would definitely travel with this company again.

Excellent Manaslu trek experience Bhairam was our lead guide for an 11 day trek on Manaslu Circuit, with a party of 5. We had 2 guides and 3 porters. Our experience was excellent in every respect, including arrangements from pick up from airport to departure. Bhairam was wise, patient, kind, generous, and led our group with experience and skill. I highly recommend Bhairam, as well as the company he is very much a part of, Himal Eco Treks.

Gokyo Lakes and Kathmandu Tour The team at Himal Eco Treks went above and beyond for our trek to Gokyo Lakes. They made sure our trip was unforgettable, stress-free, and safe. Thank you to Bhairam and Gakul who were excellent guides and managed all the little details that made the trip run smoothly. They set a comfortable pace and were always checking in with us. I want to add that from what I observed the porters they hired were treated with dignity and concern for their safety, as well. Thank you to Ramesh for a fantastic post-trip tour of Kathmandu's beautiful historic sites. 10/10 recommend Himal Eco Treks for anyone considering a Himalayan trek. It is a life-changing experience.

Great Himalayan trek and Kathmandu tour Himal Eco Treks did a fantastic job organizing and guiding our trek in the Everest region. We had comfortable accommodations, good food, and our guides did a great job pacing our group well and supporting members of our group who were having trouble. Post-trek, Himal Eco Trek arranged great last minute tours of Kathmandu and Chitwan. Our guides also helped arrange a special birthday celebration for me when my birthday happened to be one of the days of our trek. Highly recommend for anyone interested in treks or other tours in Nepal!

Go visit Goyko region! I had a wonderful experience with a group of friends trekking to Goyko, Goyko lakes and summit in Goyko Ri. It was as if we submitted the top of the world! The tour is very well organized, the guides were very knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly to be around. The guides kept us all safe at altitude too. The tour company was also very flexible about arranging different side tours in Kathmandu and different departure dates for members of our group. It was a real pleasure and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Trip, trek and visits, 2 weeks in Nepal organized by Himal Eco Treks company. Professional and reliable, we are very happy. We chose this agency based on a friend’s recommendation, and we’re so glad we did! Now we’re happy to recommend it ourselves. We spent two unforgettable weeks traveling across Nepal, with everything organized by Bhairam: guided tours (Heritage Tour in Kathmandu recommended), a multi-day trek (special thanks to our porter, Dak), transportation, accommodations, and all the logistics. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and adapted to our pace, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. It was our first trip to Nepal, hopefully not the last. Professional, reliable, and genuinely caring, we are truly satisfied and grateful! Sandrine and Yamil
