Trip Overview

Kathmandu Lumbini Chitwan Tour is a charismatic journey that starts with a quick overview of the artistic beauty of the magnificent heritage sites amidst the hectic life of the capital city – Kathmandu. From the hectic atmosphere of the Kathmandu city, the tour traverses into the peaceful environment of Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the light of Asia. Kathmandu Lumbini Chitwan Tour extends to a jungle safari tour that takes you deep into the dense forests of Chitwan National Park. So, the tour as a whole is an ideal travel plan for those who would love to applaud the glory of UNESCO listed world heritage sites in Nepal along with the adventure of jungle safari. With this tour, you can imagine yourself exploring the unique art, culture, and religion of Nepal by walking into the beautiful and peaceful landscapes of Nepal. The wilderness within the dense forests can be enriched with a lively atmosphere full of wild lives all around.

Kathmandu Lumbini Chitwan Tour starts with an enlightening sightseeing tour around the UNESCO listed world heritage sites in Kathmandu. Here, you can explore some old palaces, temples, and monuments that are excellent pieces of fine art and crafts. Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath temple, Pashupatinath temple, and Boudhanath stupa are some heritage sites that you will be able to explore around in Kathmandu. The tour then takes you to Lumbini via a scenic countryside route of Nepal. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. It is the same place where Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautam who later turned out to be Lord Buddha, the light of Asia and founder of Buddhism religion. In Lumbini, you can visit the Mayadevi temple, Ashoka pillar and a place with footprints of Lord Buddha. In the periphery, you can explore some artistic monasteries built by different countries. Lumbini is a holy site for Buddhist people and we can see many Buddhist followers visiting this place with real faith and dedication.

Next on the tour is Chitwan National Park, a dense forest in the Terai belt of Nepal. The forest is enriched with various common and rare birds, plants and animals. It is home to numerous species of animals and birds. You can get close to wildlife once you are a part of Kathmandu Lumbini Chitwan Tour. You can enjoy elephant ride, jeep safari, jungle walk and a visit to elephant breeding center. It’s common to see varieties of animals and birds during your safari tour, however, if lucky, you may encounter some rare species of birds and animals like one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, pythons, musk deer, giant hornbill, etc. and many other migrating birds. After a wonderful excursion around the jungles of Chitwan, your tour ends with a drive back via the same scenic route along the Prithvi highway to Kathmandu.

Adventure of a lifetime in the Himalayas My experience with Bhairam and Himal Eco Treks was amazing! Everything was accounted for from Kathmandu hotels, local and remote transportation (that flight into Lukla is one to remember), tea houses on the trails, food, knowledgeable guides happy to inform on local culture and what that peak waaay in the distance was. I would definitely travel with this company again.

Excellent Manaslu trek experience Bhairam was our lead guide for an 11 day trek on Manaslu Circuit, with a party of 5. We had 2 guides and 3 porters. Our experience was excellent in every respect, including arrangements from pick up from airport to departure. Bhairam was wise, patient, kind, generous, and led our group with experience and skill. I highly recommend Bhairam, as well as the company he is very much a part of, Himal Eco Treks.

Gokyo Lakes and Kathmandu Tour The team at Himal Eco Treks went above and beyond for our trek to Gokyo Lakes. They made sure our trip was unforgettable, stress-free, and safe. Thank you to Bhairam and Gakul who were excellent guides and managed all the little details that made the trip run smoothly. They set a comfortable pace and were always checking in with us. I want to add that from what I observed the porters they hired were treated with dignity and concern for their safety, as well. Thank you to Ramesh for a fantastic post-trip tour of Kathmandu's beautiful historic sites. 10/10 recommend Himal Eco Treks for anyone considering a Himalayan trek. It is a life-changing experience.

Great Himalayan trek and Kathmandu tour Himal Eco Treks did a fantastic job organizing and guiding our trek in the Everest region. We had comfortable accommodations, good food, and our guides did a great job pacing our group well and supporting members of our group who were having trouble. Post-trek, Himal Eco Trek arranged great last minute tours of Kathmandu and Chitwan. Our guides also helped arrange a special birthday celebration for me when my birthday happened to be one of the days of our trek. Highly recommend for anyone interested in treks or other tours in Nepal!

Go visit Goyko region! I had a wonderful experience with a group of friends trekking to Goyko, Goyko lakes and summit in Goyko Ri. It was as if we submitted the top of the world! The tour is very well organized, the guides were very knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly to be around. The guides kept us all safe at altitude too. The tour company was also very flexible about arranging different side tours in Kathmandu and different departure dates for members of our group. It was a real pleasure and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Trip, trek and visits, 2 weeks in Nepal organized by Himal Eco Treks company. Professional and reliable, we are very happy. We chose this agency based on a friend’s recommendation, and we’re so glad we did! Now we’re happy to recommend it ourselves. We spent two unforgettable weeks traveling across Nepal, with everything organized by Bhairam: guided tours (Heritage Tour in Kathmandu recommended), a multi-day trek (special thanks to our porter, Dak), transportation, accommodations, and all the logistics. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and adapted to our pace, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. It was our first trip to Nepal, hopefully not the last. Professional, reliable, and genuinely caring, we are truly satisfied and grateful! Sandrine and Yamil
