This trek is named after Prince Charles who first walked through this route in the 1980’s. The trail takes you through an easy route with an occasional uphill and downhill hike that follows ridges and valleys. During the trek, you walk through the rhododendron forests which will bless you with beautiful Himalayan vistas.
An awe-inspiring panoramic view of Pokhara valley, northern Annapurna range, and Mt.Fishtail are blessing during this trek. You pass through various ethnic villages rich in cultural diversity which gives an opportunity to interact with locals and get some insights about their culture, customs, traditions, and lifestyles. One of the best of this trek is the sightseeing tour of UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. Then our journey to Pokhara starts which is full of beauty of the view of landscapes all along. Upon reaching Pokhara we further drive 25 km to Kalikastan.
Kalikastan is the ultimate starting point of our trek. From there, we walk along the trail and follow a path through the foothills of Annapurna to beautiful Gurung Hamlets on the route. As we hike up through the terraced farmlands, the view of magnificent Annapurna range, Mt.Fishtail and Langtang will bless us. Besides that, the lush landscape and ethnic villages are also the best features of this trek.
