Trip Overview
Lhasa with Kailash Tour and Trek is a mystical journey that takes us along a holy trail to experience the wilderness that lies in the high altitude landscape of Tibet. The journey starts with a flight to Lhasa which is a magical flight in itself that offers beautiful views of pinnacles of towering mountains. Sightseeing Tour in Lhasa is an awesome way to get insights about pristine Tibetan Buddhist culture. Lhasa city is also known as a place of God. As its name denotes, it is a real place of Gods who lives in the well-built, artistic monasteries of Tibet.
Your visit to Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, and Jokhang temple let you venture the beautiful demonstration of art, culture and craft works. Sera monastery is a large monastery that acquires a large number of monks who preach the teachings of Lord Buddha. Similarly, Jokhang temple is the oldest temple that is surrounded by the Bakor streets. Similarly, the Potala Palace that dominates the skyline of Lhasa and Norbulingka Palaces are grand palaces of Dalai Lama. The greatness of these palaces is beyond words of description. These places have preserved the finest arts and crafts.
Mt. Kailash with Lhasa Tour not only includes the wonders of Lhasa but the renowned Kora in the holy Mt. Kailash. Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar Lake have a high value amongst both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. As per Buddhist mythology, Mt. Kailash is a place where Guru Rinpoche his meditation and got enlightenment. Similarly, Hindu myth says that Mt. Kailash is an enduring place of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The holy mountain has beautiful freshwater glacier lakes like Mansarovar and Raksheesa around it which makes the mountain even more tempting and appealing. During our journey, we take a dip inside Mansarovar Lake to get rid of our sins and purify our souls. Similarly, we perform Kora around the mountain which is considered to be a holy act.
Mt Kailash with Lhasa tour doesn’t only consist of these many attractions. On the way from Lhasa to Kailash, we pass various monasteries and high altitude lakes.
