This classic journey is a blend of natural beauty, mountains, mountain lakes, Tibetan plateaus, and spirituality. Mount Kailash is a sacred place yet very popular among the people who follow Hindu, Buddhist and Jain religion. You may also find written about this place in the holy book of each religion. For instance, Hindu mythology claims Mount Kailash is abode place of Lord Shiva where he resides with his wife Parvati.

Likewise, Buddhist believe that it is a place where tantric Guru Milarepa did meditation for years. Similarly, as per Jain myth, it is a place where Rishavdeva accomplishes liberation. Hence owing to its religious value, many pilgrims around the world visit this place every year to perform Kora.
