Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath temple, Pashupatinath temple, and Boudhanath stupa are some heritage sites that you will be able to explore around in Kathmandu. The tour then takes you to Lumbini via a scenic countryside route of Nepal. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. It is the same place where Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautam who later turned out to be Lord Buddha, the light of Asia and founder of Buddhism religion. In Lumbini, you can visit the Mayadevi temple, Ashoka pillar and a place with footprints of Lord Buddha. In the periphery, you can explore some artistic monasteries built by different countries. Lumbini is a holy site for Buddhist people and we can see many Buddhist followers visiting this place with real faith and dedication.

Next on the tour is Chitwan National Park, a dense forest in the Terai belt of Nepal. The forest is enriched with various common and rare birds, plants and animals. It is home to numerous species of animals and birds. You can get close to wildlife once you are a part of Kathmandu Lumbini Chitwan Tour. You can enjoy elephant ride, jeep safari, jungle walk and a visit to elephant breeding center. It’s common to see varieties of animals and birds during your safari tour, however, if lucky, you may encounter some rare species of birds and animals like one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, pythons, musk deer, giant hornbill, etc. and many other migrating birds.
