Short Annapurna Trek is one of the shortest and easiest treks to the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is a suitable journey for those who are looking for a short and relaxing trip in the laps of mother nature. The trekking route of Short Annapurna Trek

The Short Annapurna Trek starts from the capital city of Kathmandu. Upon your arrival in Nepal, you will be transferred to a hotel in Kathmandu. You spend a night in Kathmandu and take an early flight to Pokhara the next day. It’s a twenty minutes’ flight along the Himalayas to Pokhara. From Pokhara, you will be driven to Phedi which is the commencement point of the Short Annapurna Trek. From here, we follow a path that traverses through lush farmlands, hills, and villages like Pothana and Dhampus to Australian Base Camp. Australian Base Camp offers some magnificent views of mountains like Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Macchhapucchre, Mt. Nilgiri, Mt. Hiunchuli, etc. Further, we traverse through a forested area and descend down to Naudanda. Again, we ascend up to the top of the hill ridge. We then open up to a settlement area popular as Sarangkot.  Sarangkot is a popular viewpoint in the Annapurna region. It is best known for its sunrise and sunset views amidst the towering mountains of the region. The place is also a starting point for the adventure activities like paragliding and zip flyer. The entire Pokhara city is clearly visible from Sarangkot. We catch glorious views of sunrise from the viewpoint in Sarangkot. If interested, you can try the adventure activities of your choice. After a delightful walk to Sarangkot, we drop down via the same path to Pokhara. Finally, the trek concludes with a flight back to Kathmandu city.
