Langtang valley trek, a mind-blowing natural beauty which has made this trekking in Nepal, one of the cherished trek among many other trails. Langtang valley is also popular for the wild and tranquil landscape it possesses. Despite the easy accessibility from the Kathmandu, you might get shocked to see the remote condition of the valley. And this remoteness has been an appeal for the entire Tourist who visits this area. Another main attraction of this valley is the sky-piercing mountains and the glaciers. Nonetheless, a walk through the pine forest, Rhododendron, and Bamboo forest can be an invigorating experience.

Langtang Valley Trek starts with a drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi. From Syabrubesi, we make our way to Lama Hotel along the forests of bamboo. We further walk through the forests of bamboo, pine, and rhododendron to Langtang village. In this trek, we will be walking inside the Langtang National Park. Therefore, the trek can be a wonderful opportunity to encounter some wildlife that lies within. By luck, we might be able to see red Panda but the chance is rare as the animal itself.

At Langtang village, we can enjoy the lifestyle of people residing in that area. It can be an opportunity to get some insights on people, their culture, custom and religious insight. The people residing in these areas are mostly Buddhist. The influence of Buddhism can be predicted from the prayer flags, Chortens, mani walls and gompas in those areas. Cheese factory and Kyangjin gompa are two popular must-visit places in Langtang village. The hike up to Chokari Ri for stunning views of mountains and icefalls is always worth it. From the top, you can see some glorifying views of Ganjala, Ganesh Himal Langtang Lirung, Manaslu, Tserko Ri and Langsisa Ri.

In short, Langtang Valley Trek is a trek full of liveliness. It is an easy trek that lets you rejoice the wild and tranquil form of nature along with mountains, valleys, and icefalls. The opportunity to ascend Kyangjin Ri offers 360-degree views of Langtang range. Apart from natural glories, Langtang valley trek is also a journey that will acknowledge you on people, mountainous lifestyle, their unique culture and custom.

We have planned and booked over the agency a 4-week vacation. 2 weeks of trekking in Langtang with guide and porter and 2 weeks round trip (2.200 km) in Tibet with guide and driver. We were advised in advance friendly and competent (e-mail). Planning and implementation were perfect. Our Nepalese good English and little German speaking guide Pasangphuri has guided us safely and friendly. Also, our porter was always friendly, humorous and relaxed. We enjoyed the time together very pleasant. Our Tibetan, good English speaking guide, Phunthsok has inspired us with his great knowledge and his friendly and open nature. Our driver Tensing was a safe and prudent driver. The next Nepal and/or Tibet trip we will definitely book again over Himal Eco. Carsten
