Regarding your arrival
As you arrive at the airport in Kathmandu, you will have to pay the Visa charges to enter into Nepal. Two passport size photos are necessary for this purpose.
Your guide will be there at the airport to pick you up and escort you to the hotel for check-in. After a bit of refreshment, your guide will explain your itinerary and your plan ahead.
We offer you the best accommodations possible. The rooms will be clean, comfortable and homely. In Kathmandu, you will stay at a hotel with deluxe rooms. During the trek, you will stay at the best guesthouses or lodges. Generally, accommodation during the trek in guesthouses is on sharing basis. However, the rooms are clean, comfortable and the warm welcome of the people in the guesthouses will make you feel greeted and homely.
Meals and Drinking water facility
The meals during the trek are included in the package that we offer. The meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the trek. Other snacks and personal preference items are not included in our package.
If you want to exchange your currency with the Nepalese currency, you can exchange it at the counters in the airport. It is reliable when you exchange the currency through banks or other certified money exchangers. You can find the exchange rate for the day on the website of Nepal Rastra Bank.
Travel Insurance is highly recommended as it is for your own safety and security. Our package doesn’t include the cost of travel insurance. You are responsible for your travel insurance.
Import and Export during the travel
You can import some duty-free items prescribed by the Customs Act in Nepal. You can bring a 1.15ml bottle of distilled liquor, 200 cigarettes, and 50 cigars. Also, you can also bring a laptop, video camera, binoculars and other portable items that are essential for you. In the case of export, it is prohibited to carry the paintings, manuscripts or other things of cultural importance which carries over 100 years of history. In case you purchase any kind of statues of paintings, you need to verify it at the Department of Archaeology before export.
High altitude sickness
Many people suffer from high altitude sickness while they opt out for trekking in high altitude regions. There might be various causes for high altitude sickness. It may be due to lack of your body endurance or due to lack of proper acclimatization and many more, Therefore, one needs to be alert about the possible risks.
