Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal. Your representative will pick you up at the airport and escort you to hotel for check in. Your guide will provide you detail information about your journey further. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Tour preparation and Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
Your guide will escort you to the UNESCO listed heritage sites in Kathmandu. We will explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath which will be followed by visit to Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Fly to Nepalgunj
We take a flight to the far south west region of Nepal i.e. to Nepalgunj. Nepalgunj being a border town, it is very busy and crowded. The temperature there is also high. It is the hottest city all over Nepal. Overnight at a hotel in Nepalgunj. (Breakfast included)
Day 4: Fly to Simikot and trek to Dharapari
Today, we take another flight to Simikot. We fly to the north for about 35 minutes to one of the remote locations in Nepal – Simikot. It is the headquarter of Humla district. At Simikot, we meet our crew who will assist us for our journey ahead. We start our trekking journey by climbing up from the airstrip and walking on a rocky trail. We pass the fields of barley and wheat and ascend to a forested ridge above the town of Simikot. We make a long steep descend and pass Dandaphoya. We continue our trail through walnut and apricot trees until we reach the village of Dharapokhari. Overnight at tented camp. (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner included)
Day 5: Dharapari – Kermi
Leaving Dharapari, we walk on relatively flat trails along the Karnali River. We pass the fields of barley, buckwheat, rice and potatoes on our way. We can enjoy a hot water bath at two natural hot springs located near Kermi. The hot water bath can be an ailment to soothe our aching bodies. On the way, we visit two popular gompas on our trail namely Kermi Laikyo Gompa and Lhundrup Choeling Gompa. Overnight at tented camp. (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner included)
Day 6: Kermi to Yalbang
Our trail goes flat and then takes a steep ascend over a rocky ridge before descending down to the greyish blue water of the Humla Karnali. We cross another ridge to a sandy meadow where the camps are set by the goat herders by the side of the river. Passing the meadow, we reach a valley that down as we cross more ridges to reach the village of Yalbang On the way, we visit a remote monastery - Namkha Khyung Dzong Monastery and walk ahead enjoy the views of pine trees and Karnali River. We will also visit the remote. Overnight at tented camp. (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner included)
Day 7: Yalbang to Tumkot
Today, we walk through a trail above the Karnali River. As we ascend up, the lush in the environment starts to disappear and few small comes to sight. Then we make our way through pine trees and rocky hills to Tumkot. Upon reaching Tumkot, we visit the Dhungkar Choezom Monastery. It is one of the most important Sakya monasteries in the Tibetan region. Overnight at tented camp. (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner included)
Day 8: Tumkot to Yari
Our walk for the day is comparatively easy. The change in climate and vegetation is drastically noticeable. As we move forward, the landscape grows more wild, secluded and rocky. You can only see small bushes and low junipers in the name of vegetation. We continue our trail until we reach Yari. Overnight at tented camp. (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner included)
Day 9: Yari to Hilsa
Our journey today is exciting as we cross the first pass of our journey - the Nara La pass (4,620m). The vegetation and landscape at this place is similar to that of Tibet. As we cross the pass, we will be blessed by the outstanding views of Tibetan plateau and Yari Village. From the pass, we descend down to Hilsa. Hilsa is a border town near Tibet. It is a point where the pilgrims on the way of Mt. Kailash are dropped by helicopter. Overnight at tented camp. (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner included)
Day 10: Hilsa to Mansarovar
Today, we cross the Nepal/ Tibet Border. Here, the border is marked just by a stone pillar. As soon as we cross the border, we reach to our vehicle which will be waiting for us. Jumping over our vehicle, we drive ahead via Taklakot, to Manasarovar. Overnight at tented camp. (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner included)
Day 11: Mansarovar – Tarchen
Early in the morning, we wake up and take a dip in the holy lake of Mansarovar. It is said that all our sins will be forgiven by God and we will be blessed with bliss if we take a bath in that lake. After completing our bath and parikrama, we drive towards Tarchen. Tarchen is a base camp for Kailash parikrama. During the auspicious religiously important dates, the base camp is filled with tents with pilgrims. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 12: Tarchen – Tarboche – Dirapuk
Today, we actually start our Kailash yatra. The path starting from Tarchen is also known as Asthapath which means “Way of Faith”. We walk along a rocky cliff and pass waterfall to Dirapuk. The whole landscape is wild but alluring. The blue sky with hint of few white clouds is absolutely amazing. The random view of face of Mt. Kailash will add to our walking journey. The atmosphere around will give us a heavenly feeling. Overnight at a guesthouse in Dirapuk.
Day 13: Dirapuk – Zuthulpuk
We continue our trail up until we reach Dolma La Pass. At Dolma La pass, the weather can be quite unreliable. Therefore, it is recommended to cross the pass as early as possible to avoid storm and bad weather. From the top of the pass, we descend down to Gauri Kund. After visiting Gauri Kund, we continue our trek to Zuthulpuk Overnight at a guesthouse in Zuthulpuk.
Day 14: Zuthulpuk – Tarchen –Mansarovar – Dongba
Today is the last day of our parikrama. In the morning, we explore the temples, shrines around the Milarepa cave. Then we retrace our jouney back to Tarchen. From Tarchen, we drive in our land cruiser to Dongba. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 15: Drive to Sigatse
Today, we drive to Sigatse through Lhasa-Kailash highway, Finally, we will reach the Sigatse and you take amazing Tibetan cultural experience in Sigatse with Tasi Limphhu monastery sightseeing. Overnight at hotel in Sigatse.
Day 16: Drive to Lhasa via Gyatse and Yamdroksee
Today, We drive to Gyatse which is one of the old traditional markets of Tibet in the insane time. When we visit the Gyatse Monastery then continue to drive to Lhasa via Yamdroksee Lake with the high passes including trans Himalaya view of Tibet. Finally, We reach Lhasa and overnight in Lhasa at the Hotel.
Day 17: Sightseeing in Lhasa
Lhasa is the second most populous urban area on the Tibetan Plateau after Xining and, at an altitude of 3,490 meters (11,450 ft), Lhasa is one of the highest cities in the world. The city has been the religious and administrative capital of Tibet since the mid-17th century. So Today we visit Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace and old Tibetan markets around Jokhang temple.Overnight at Hotel.
Day 18: Flight back to Kathmandu
Today, we bid Tibet a goodbye and enter Nepal. We drive to the Gonger airport and fly back to Kathmandu with magnificence view Nepal Himalayas including top of the world Mount Everest ( Chomolungma), Mount Choyu and others top the highest point of the world. Our staffs will be in there for pickup you and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 19: Leisure Day
A leisure day in Kathmandu. You can utilize the day on your own! Explore the streets of Kathmandu or opt out for visit to some popular places as per your preferences. There are many malls in the city, therefore, you can also utilize the day by shopping in the malls of Kathmandu. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 20: Farewell
