Trip Overview

Royal Trek, one of the easiest treks in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The trek which is suitable for all kinds of traveler. This trek is named after Prince Charles who first walked through this route in the 1980’s. The trail takes you through an easy route with an occasional uphill and downhill hike that follows ridges and valleys. During the trek, you walk through the rhododendron forests which will bless you with beautiful Himalayan vistas.

An awe-inspiring panoramic view of Pokhara valley, northern Annapurna range, and Mt.Fishtail are blessing during this trek. You pass through various ethnic villages rich in cultural diversity which gives an opportunity to interact with locals and get some insights about their culture, customs, traditions, and lifestyles. Hence, the best part of this trek if you don’t have to worry about altitude sickness at all.

One of the best of this trek is the sightseeing tour of UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. Then our journey to Pokhara starts which is full of beauty of the view of landscapes all along. Upon reaching Pokhara we further drive 25 km to Kalikastan.

Kalikastan is the ultimate starting point of our trek. From there, we walk along the trail and follow a path through the foothills of Annapurna to beautiful Gurung Hamlets on the route. As we hike up through the terraced farmlands, the view of magnificent Annapurna range, Mt.Fishtail and Langtang will bless us. Besides that, the lush landscape and ethnic villages are also the best features of this trek. Hence, after the invigorating experience of nature and its beauty, we conclude our trek at the scenic Begnas Lake.

Cost Include

  • Accommodation for nights spent at the hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara inclusive of breakfast at the hotel.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at the Kathmandu airport
You will be picked up at the airport by our representative and escorted to the hotel for check in. The guide will describe you the plans ahead. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing tour
Wake up for an exciting day as your guide will escort you to the UNESCO listed heritage sites in Kathmandu. The tour today is all about art, culture and history that Nepal possesses. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa. The day can be an enlightenment of Hindu and Buddhist culture. Stay at your hotel in the evening.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Today, we drive to the city of lakes. – Pokhara! We take a route along the Trishuli River to Pokhara and check in to the hotel once we reach there. For the remaining part of the day, you can stroll around the lakeside as per your own will. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 4: Pokhara to Kalikasthan
An awesome morning in Pokhara, when we fuel ourselves with a delicious breakfast applauding the views of mighty Annapurna range and serene Fewa lake. After breakfast, we carry our bag packs and start our trekking journey. We drive to Bijaya Khola, cross the river and start walking through flat lands and paddy fields. After breakfast we drive to Bijayapur Khola to begin our trek. Initially we start our walk for about an hour through flat paddy fields and cross the river. As we move ahead, the trail ascends up slowly until we reach Kalikasthan. We stop at Kaliasthan for the day. We explore the beautiful village and the surrounding places. The lush hills, valleys and mountains, everything looks so fantastic. We stay at a local guesthouse in the evening.
Day 5: Kalikasthan to Syaklung
We wake up early in the morning and enjoy a locally made, hygienic and delicious breakfast in our guesthouse. Leaving the guesthouse, we start our journey for the day through the local and charming villages. On the way, we encounter local people and pass various crop fields. As we walk on the ridge of the mountain, we will be blessed with the close views of Annapurna range and Lamjung Himal. As we step forward, we pass rhododendron forest and continue walking until we reach Syaklung. We stay at a local guesthouse in Syaklung for the night.
Day 6: Syaklung to Chisapani
We leave Syaklung and follow the trail that takes us along a Gurung village and then through Sal and rhododendron forest. Walking along the Gurung villages along the way is an opportunity to get adhered to the Gurung lifestyle, culture and tradition. We further descend and ascend along the path to Chisapani. Today, we will have beautiful views of mountains than will make our journey, ascends and descends worth it. The views of mountains from Chisapani is a wonderful experience in itself. You will find yourself standing in front of mountains that are scattered all around in the panoramic form. We stay at a guesthouse in Chisapani for the night.
Day 7: Chisapani to Pokhara
Leaving Chisapani, we descend all the way down to Rupa tal. From here, we climb up to Sundare Danda. The lush landscape, alluring mountain views and the cool wind that blows in Sundare danda is sensational. From this hill, we walk for around 15 minutes until we reach Begnas Lake in Pokhara. This serene lake is a glory of Pokhara that adds to the beauty of the lakeside city. In the evening, we can wander around the lakeside and enjoy the magnificence in this air. We can also enjoy boating in the lake if we want. You will then be transferred to a hotel in Pokhara for overnight stay.
Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Today we leave Pokhara and drive back along the same scenic route to Kathmandu. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 9: Farewell
Today, we wrap up our journey. You will be escorted to the airport for your journey ahead. Hope you had a good time with us!
