Best trekking destination for Monsoon in Nepal, Monsoon season is not so recommended for trekking in Nepal because at this point of time the trekking trail is wet which makes the path slippery therefore trekking can be prone to accidents. Even the weather is cloudy and gloomy which makes the vision unclear. The season records most of the flight delays and cancellation and even the road transportation due to the frequent rain, landslides and floods. Leeches can be another problem of trekking in monsoon season. As the trekking trail passes through grassy and forested area, you may end up tackling with the leeches that may get struck to your body. Due to these reasons, trekking in Nepal is not so recommended in monsoon. Monsoon is an off season for trekking in Nepal.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is amongst those treks which can be attempted by any age group at anytime of the year. It is an easy trek with natural beauty and magnificence in abundance. One can easily relish the glory of hills, mountains, forests and valleys in a single go. Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek takes you to the height of 3,210 meters from where you can admire the spectacular beauty of Annapurna massif. And also the lush landscape of the Annapurna region. Poon Hill is a perfect destination to watch the glorious sunrise and sunset amidst the snow-clad mountains. Monsoon rain can be the problem making the trail wet and sloppy. But the magnificent views views of Himalayas will make the hard work worthy. Ghorepani Poon Hill trek starts from the foothill of Annapurna. And takes you all the way along the charming villages, farmlands and forests to Ghorepani village.

Ghorepani and Poonhill are the beautiful locations from where you can applaud the raw appeal of Annapurna massif. The panoramic views of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Macchapucchre, Mt. Nilgiri are the incredible experiences of this trekking journey.

  1. Upper Mustang Trek

Upper Mustang is a beautiful gem that lies in the backdrop of beautiful Himalayas near the Annapurna region of Nepal. This place is well known for the dry, arid and wild landscape. As a matter of fact, it lies in rain shadow area therefore receives almost no rain. Upper Mustang is quite similar to Tibet in terms of landscape and culture. The dry arid valley of Mustang resembles to that of Tibetan plateaus. And the culture prevalent in this area is very similar to the Tibetan Buddhist culture. Inhabited by Tibetan Buddhist people, Upper Mustang is also referred to as the kingdom of Lo. Lo Manthang is the capital of the kingdom.

Upper Mustang is spectacular in terms of its fascinating landscape, mountain views and of its rich authentic culture.   1. Chisapani Nagarkot Trek

Chisapani Nagarkot Trek is an awesome journey that takes you around Kathmandu valley. You can relish the glory of mountains and lush landscape around the Kathmandu valley through this trek.
